What a match.
I got in the door and saw the acceptance email at exactly the start time of 9:00. ClikR rushed to get ready and we fielded a laggy and unwarmed up team. The Divine Team were fantastic waiting for us to eventually get setup to play -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The First Half was fantastic. As an agreement for the trouble we started Ts. The game started with an early lead and after taking the first 3 rounds we were easily leading with superior weapons than our opponents. They showed a very intelligent eco round strategy by holding mid with USPs at one point however due to a quadruple flash onto them and the luck of a deagle rush (which left me upon 2hp) it failed. ClikR played very well moving into positions perfectly and landing the kills whenever they were needed. Anyone in vent could have heard Ripper's surprise at some of the kills (particularly a onedeag at long and an M4 headshot on a man on the lower tunnels boxes) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The second half got off to a slow start with #dg taking the first few rounds easily. On a retake of B site we finally managed to shift the initiative and with an A based tactic we were able to hold off the majority of their assaults taking the win early on and playing for rounds since then. Like the first half soon #dg found themselves unable to break our money streak while they had little or none due to our tactics based on close ally play. A good game and a great team that stayed for a fun game where others would have claimed a default. Well Played team and Well Played DG |
